Mr. Jensen joined the Faith Faculty and Staff in July 2023 after previously serving as Principal at Bethel Lutheran In Sioux Falls, SD and Mt. Olive Lutheran in Delano, MN. He graduated from Martin Luther College in 2015 after double-majoring in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. Currently he is nearing completion of his Masters Degree in Education with a Special Education Emphasis.

If he is not at school, you can find him spending time with his family (Mrs. Jensen, Reese, Charlotte, and Maddox), watching sports, or spending time outdoors at the zoo. 

Mrs. Jill Holter has taught in the Tacoma area since her graduation from Dr. Martin Luther College in 1981. Mrs. Holter has been teaching at Faith Lutheran since 1994. She has taught many different grades in her teaching career, but currently teaches Kindergarten. She and her husband Larry have two children. Her hobbies include kayaking and reading.

If she is not at school, you can find her spending time with her family (Mr. Jensen, Reese, Charlotte, and Maddox), watching Hallmark Movies and cooking shows (especially Beat Bobby Flay), or reading a good book.

Mrs. Parker attended Martin Luther College and graduated in 2020 with a degree in Early Childhood Education. She has lived near the Tacoma area for the majority of her life and loves the Pacific NW. She and her husband, Jeff, attended and graduated from Evergreen Lutheran High School. She enjoys spending time with friends, family, and her dogs, hiking, reading mystery novels, and basketball. 

Mrs. Naomi Getka began teaching at Faith in 2016. Mrs. Getka graduated from Dr. Martin Luther College in 1995. Since then her teaching career includes working with a variety of grade levels that include teaching grades 1-5 and freshman through seniors at various schools. She and her husband, Jim, have five children. Mrs. Getka enjoys hiking, reading, volleyball, and time with family and friends.

Mrs. Chantel Kolander started teaching at Faith in 2022. She previously taught seventh grade for two years in Arizona. She graduated from Martin Luther College in 2020 with a double major in Elementary Education and Secondary Physical Education and a double minor in Coaching and English. She is married to Evan Kolander, a teacher at Evergreen Lutheran High School. She enjoys watching and playing sports, especially disc golf; cooking and baking, and spending time with her husband and their dog, Dez.

Mrs. Nicole Habeck has been a part of the licensed preschool teaching staff since 2015. Mrs. Habeck attended Bethany Lutheran College in Mankato, MN and graduated in 2004. She completed her Bachelors Degree in Education in 2017 from Western Governors University and earned her WA State Teachers License in 2018. Mrs. Habeck has experience teaching preschool through 6th grade. She is excited to serve the families of Faith as Director and Lead Teacher of the preschool. Mrs. Habeck is married to Nic Habeck and they have four children, Lily, Gabriel, Rudy, and Luther. She loves sports-especially soccer and basketball, to do anything outside, and to spend time with her family and friends.
